GT Solar received the first total value of more than 84 million U.S. dollars sapphire crystal system orders

GT Solar (SOLR) announced today that the sapphire crystal system has received the first two copies of orders for a total value of more than $84 million. Jiangsu Jixing New Material orders from Co., Ltd and Jiujiang race Fei Technology Co. ltd.. The total annual capacity of two orders is approximately 8 million inches (TIE) of two inch sapphire substrate.

Ltd. is a leading manufacturer of photovoltaic company GT Solar, is associated with long-term photovoltaic customers. They will use sapphire crystal devices for their company's new plant, and through the establishment of a large area of high-quality sapphire substrate facilities for the next few years to prepare for the expected growth opportunities in the LED market. These initial customers will aim at the high brightness LED market area.
