International Conference on solid state lighting (ISA) was established in China

October 16, 2010, international solid state lighting International SSL Alliance (hereinafter referred to as ISA) in China international semiconductor lighting forum announced the establishment of the closing ceremony. From the Chinese national semiconductor lighting engineering research and Industry Alliance Secretary General Wu Ling, U.S. President Frederic Optoelectronics Industry Development Association, the special representative of Quan Korea Photonics Industry Development Association, Taiwan Shin M.W. photoelectric semiconductor industry association chairman Li Bingjie, Australia and New Zealand lighting engineering association chairman Warren Julian attended the inaugural ceremony of ISA. Australia and New Zealand Illuminating Engineering Society chairman, former vice president of CIE, the International Lighting Engineers Association Asia Pacific regional conference chairman Warren Julian spoke at the inaugural ceremony.

Lighting is an important prerequisite for the survival of all living things on the earth. The solid-state lighting has a huge industrial, economic, technological and social effects, is a strategic emerging industries. The development of solid state lighting is conducive to improving energy efficiency, response to global climate change, and promote sustainable development of mankind. At present, there is a large number of organizations in the global regional solid lighting alliance, and the lack of a joint global action. While solid-state lighting is a global opportunity, we are facing a global challenge, we must strengthen global cooperation.

In order to accelerate and promote the healthy development of solid-state lighting industry in the world, promotion of solid state lighting ecological, social and economic system based on the realization of all human beings as soon as possible to promote the global green lighting, energy-saving environmental protection, a joint initiative of participating countries established by the world trade organization, solid state lighting industry organization, industry well-known enterprises and research institutions jointly set up the non-profit non-governmental organization "International Solid State Lighting (International Solid State Lighting Alliance / ISA)" (hereinafter referred to as "ISA").

ISA's mission is through joint cooperation worldwide and enterprising spirit, resources and power,

1, to promote the rapid development of global solid-state lighting industry and the application of the;

2, create a green and sustainable development of human society.

The main contents include: ISA work in the future strategic development blueprint released and global solid-state lighting industry roadmap; initiate and coordinate global demonstration projects, to enhance public understanding of solid state lighting; promote dialogue and cooperation in the areas of standards and testing methods; the development of industrial ecosystem (personnel, education and training; the development of public relations, etc.) the promotion of SSL application.

ISA will adhere to cooperation, innovation, win-win situation, the concept of social responsibility, to members of the alliance, alliance and internal government agencies, intergovernmental organizations, non governmental organizations extensive cooperation in solid-state lighting industry, realize common, general, solid-state lighting industry key technology innovation alliance, members and stakeholders (such as government industrial and commercial enterprises and non-profit organizations) the value of a win-win situation, assume the world energy saving and environmental protection, human green lighting enterprise social responsibility.
