LED lights are more energy saving and longer life

In the early old lines of Guangzhou metro, ordinary lighting in the public area of the station is mainly used as a common fluorescent lamp. With the development of semiconductor lighting in the world in recent years, LED lamps and lanterns emerge as the times require. According to the experts, in the same brightness, the LED lamp consumption is only 1/2 of the ordinary fluorescent lamp, and the life span can be extended by 5 times. More importantly, the LED light source itself does not contain harmful substances such as mercury and lead, and the infrared and ultraviolet hazards of LED lamps are far less than those of traditional fluorescent lamps, without infrared and ultraviolet pollution, and will not produce pollution to the outside world in production and use.

In 2010, it was recommended by the Guangzhou municipal government and the National Semiconductor Industrial Technology Alliance. The Guangzhou Metro General company undertook the cross-straits semiconductor lighting cooperation project in the Taiwan Straits, Guangzhou Metro demonstration project, taking into account the replacement period of the original two line station lamps and lanterns, and 14 on the original two line. The demonstration project of LED energy saving lighting is implemented in the public area of the subway station, and LED lamps and lanterns are used for the large-scale installation and use of the subway in the future.

Annual electricity consumption is about 2 million 450 thousand degrees

The Guangzhou subway said the project was very tense and could only be rebuilt during the subway shutdown every day. After the necessary operation time was deducted, the actual construction time was up to 3.5 hours a day, and even some special operation arrangements were met, and the effective time was greatly shortened. In order to ensure the smooth progress of the whole project, the subway company organized design, contractors, operators and suppliers in detail. The lighting scheme was evaluated by lighting design simulation at station by station. The requirements of the existing national standards were fine adjusted and the product consistency tracking mechanism was established for the whole project. Finally, it lasted for nearly two years. Completed in March 2015 and accepted by the unit in July 15, 2015.

After the last two years, the overall performance of the project has reached and exceeded the expected level. According to the subway company, 8790 sets of fluorescent lamps and lanterns are dismantled, 7527 sets of LED lamps are installed, and the total number of lamps and lanterns is reduced by 14.4%. After the project is put into use, the energy saving rate of the project lamps and lanterns is 48.8%, the annual electricity consumption is about 2 million 450 thousand degrees, and the energy saving effect is remarkable after the project is measured by third parties. Not only that, after the project was implemented, the overall lighting uniformity of station platform and station hall was increased by nearly 10%. In Guangzhou metro passenger satisfaction survey in 2014, the satisfaction of "purchase hall, channel and platform brightness" reached 9.10 points, indicating that the passengers were more satisfied with the subway station lighting.

LED lamps are used in the general lighting of the new line public area

The reporter has learned that in the context of the current global energy shortage, saving energy is an important issue for us to face in the future. As an urban public transport, the lighting as an important electric load is about 8-10% of the total power. The use of LED and other green lighting technology will greatly reduce the energy consumption of lighting, and reduce the maintenance cost of equipment, thus effectively reducing the operating cost.

The Guangzhou Metro indicated that the implementation of this project has achieved good results and greatly promoted the application of the LED industry in the field of urban rail transit and in other important engineering fields. To this end, from the first line of line six to start all new lines, the station public area ordinary lighting use LED lights, and the old line, the number one line of the station and line four train is currently being carried out LED light transformation, the rest of the lines to be replaced after the replacement of the original lamps and lanterns.
