Agilent high brightness white LED package surface to interior lighting

Agilent Technologies Inc. (Agilent Technologies) announced the day before, launched a series of using PLCC-2 (plastic leaded chip carrier) high brightness white surface and Power PLCC-4 packaging industry standard light emitting diode HSMW-A10xx and HSMW-A40xx series. These white LED can easily replace the TopLED and Power TopLED products used in automotive interior lighting applications.

Agilent HSMW-A10xx and HSMW-A40xx series white surface mount (SMT) LED has a 120 degree ultra wide angle of view, especially suitable for automotive car interior dashboard, buttons, or other applications such as general backlight. At the top of the LED light emitting surface is flat, can be easily inserted into the lamp groove; the built-in reflector can improve the intensity of the light output, especially suitable for such as mirror lamp, lamp, lamp and cab door handle lamp brightness application in automotive environments. These LED can also be used in office equipment and industrial equipment and household appliances dashboard, buttons or ordinary backlight, variable signal signs and commercial and residential indoor and outdoor lighting.

In the PLCC-2 package, the Agilent HSMW-A101-R50J1 achieved a minimum luminous intensity (Iv) of 100 MCD (250mcd) and HSMW-A100-T50J1 achieved a minimum of Iv. The Iv indicators of these two products are measured at a forward current of 20mA. In the Power PLCC-4 package, when the forward current is 30mA, the minimum Iv is 400mcd (HSMW-A400-U00M2).

The Agilent HSMW-A10xx HSMW-A40xx series and LED package using reliable, optical efficiency is high, the working temperature is -40 DEG to +100 DEG, to ensure reliability in harsh driving environment can also be very. For ease of assembly, these LED are packaged in tape and reel that conform to the EIA standard. The products carried on each reel are specially chosen to ensure uniform brightness and color. The LED uses the same reflow and wave soldering process as IR (IR).
