All replaced by LED, Dezhou and Pennsylvania town push LED street lamp plan

In Wichita, Fowles, Dezhou, there are still more than 5700 high voltage sodium lamps, metal halide lamps, mercury lamps and other bulbs. In order to replace all the bulbs with LED lights, the local government intends to cooperate with the renewable energy company Ameresco to switch these lights to LED.

At present, there are about 2490 LED streetlights in the city of Fowles, and the government intends to convert all the remaining streetlights to LED, which is expected to cost about $2 million 880 thousand. Ameresco will use LED bulbs provided by Cooper Lighting, and its life expectancy can be estimated at 20 years. Ameresco said that after replacement, it will save 2 million 850 thousand kilowatt hours of electricity per year for Wichita Fowles.

In addition to the city of Fowles, the United States city alliance (NLC) also assembled 35 towns in the southeast part of Pennsylvania, which invested 13 million US dollars in converting public lighting to LED lights. As a result of fundraising and energy consumption, the governments participating in the plan will save $1 million 400 thousand a year in energy budgets.

Lance and Dyer also took part in the fund-raising plan. Originally, the city government was constrained by the budget deficit, which has been replaced by LED bulbs in the past few years. However, after participating in the plan, it is estimated that 2600 sets of LED lighting equipment will be installed at the cost of $one million.
