Allegro launched a new buck LED driver A6210

Allegro introduces a new buck LED driver with fixed conduction time and current feedback control A6210. This control method ensures an extremely short switching time, which is well suited for applications requiring high switching frequency and high input voltage and low output voltage. Its small size and high efficiency make it very suitable for small compact MR16 light and other applications, and its high current and medium voltage capacity is suitable for high power applications such as street lighting.

With high switching frequency up to 2.0MHz, support for small low-cost inductors and capacitors can reduce system costs. In addition, due to high integration, the required external components are very few, including the 3A switch. The optimized driving circuit can reduce the switching loss, and the efficiency is up to 90%. The switching frequency is always the same as the input voltage adjusts the switching time. This feedforward control ensures an ideal line correction. Control of the input voltage of the external resistor can switch on time programming.

Allegro A6210 uses 4mm QFN package.
