American Super Division launched an average current mode control LED driver IC

The day before, the United States, the company (Supertex, Inc.) launched a HV9961, it is a constant average current mode and LED driver IC control (IC), which is designed to use buck topology (buck topology) to drive the LED. It is very suitable for a variety of solid-state lighting applications.

Since the company has a proprietary average mode control scheme, therefore, HV9961 output current accuracy of up to +/-3%, no loop compensation or side current sensing. The product is characterized by its discontinuous mode (hiccup-mode) current limit to achieve LED short circuit protection, linear dimming input and PWM dimming.

The HV9961 uses SOIC-8 and SOIC-16 two packages (HV9961LG-G and HV9961NG-G individually packaged) and is compatible with the super family of HV9910B LED drives. The parts of the product is green, environmentally friendly, and in line with RoHS certification. HV9961LG-G samples are available from stock. HV9961NG-G samples will be available after 3 weeks.
