Apple's push for micro LED technology has been widely praised as a potential replacement for OLED

Apple is optimistic about the industry in the selection of micro LED technology, moreover from the LuxVue patents also saw the potential of micro LED array manufacturing flexible, positive competition in the future and thus flexible AMOLED screen.

Two experts said the Micro-LED screen panel at present the technology level is still very difficult to produce all kinds of practical application in the Display Week, which means that at least in the short term is unlikely to see this screen technology in iPhone, iPad or iMac in the product line. However, for smaller screen sizes, Micro-LED is still possible, and apple now uses OLED screen technology in Apple Watch, but Micro-LED could be a potential replacement.
