Apple is a new patent for Micro LED display. What is black technology?

According to official information from Patently Apple, in November 8th, the US patent and Trademark Office announced that Apple had obtained a patent related to Micro LED display, and its perspective adjustment layer might be formed by holographic structure.

The patent title is "Display with Holographic Angle-of-View Adjustment Structure". It describes that the angle adjustment layer enhances the angle extension of the light emitted from the pixel points, so it can be expanded by adding visual angle adjustment layer on the pixel lattice array of Micro LED display. It is reported that early this year, apple acquired a AR glasses display technology start-ups Akonia Holographics, the company has more than 200 holographic system related patents. Therefore, through this acquisition, apple can expand the development of wearable AR devices.

In September, Apple also released a patent application on head mounted displays in Europe, supporting AR, VR and holographic content. With the latest patents available, Apple will be able to pave the way for developing wearable products using Micro LED monitors.
