Two. Installation method of LED lamp belt

1, indoor installation:

When the LED lamp is used for interior decoration, it is very simple to install because it does not need to be subjected to wind and rain. Each LED lamp belt is affixed with self adhesive 3M double-sided adhesive. When installing, it can directly tear off the stickers on the surface of 3M double-sided adhesive tape, then fix the lamp bar in the place needed to be installed, and press it flat with your hands. What do we need to do to turn corners or long? Very simple, the LED lamp is a series of parallel circuits consisting of 3 LED, and each 3 LED can be cut off separately.

2, outdoor installation:

Outdoor installation will be subjected to wind and rain. If 3M glue is fixed, the 3M adhesive will be reduced for a long time, resulting in the LED lamp belt falling off. Therefore, outdoor installation often adopts the way of slot fixing, which needs to be cut and connected. In order to consolidate the waterproof effect of the connection point.

3, power connection method:

The LED lamp has a general voltage of DC 12V, so it needs to be supplied by a switching power supply. The size of the power supply is determined according to the power and length of the LED lamp. If you don't want every LED belt to be controlled by one power source, you can buy a relatively large switching power supply to make the total power supply, and then put all the LED lights into the power supply. All of them are connected in parallel. Such advantages can be centralized control, inconvenient place is not able to achieve single LED lighting effect and switch control, which way can be used to measure by themselves.

4. Controller connection mode:

The LED lantern belt and RGB full coloured light strip need to use the controller to achieve the effect of change, and the control distance of each controller is different. Generally speaking, the control distance of the simple controller is 10 to 15 meters, and the control distance of the remote controller is 15 to 20 meters, and the longest distance can be controlled to 30 meters. If the connection distance of the LED lamp belt is long, and the controller can not control the long lamp belt, then the power amplifier should be used to carry out the connection.

5, pay attention to the connection distance of LED lamp belt.

Generally speaking, the 3528 series of LED lamp belts have the longest connection distance of 20 meters, the 5050 series of LED lamp belts, and the longest connection distance is 15 meters. If the connection distance is exceeded, the LED lamp belt is easy to generate heat, and the service life of the LED lamp belt will be affected during use. Therefore, the installation must be installed in accordance with the requirements of manufacturers, and should not be allowed to run overloaded with LED lights.

Three, LED lamp belt matters needing attention

1, the requirement of brightness is different because of different occasions and different products on LED brightness. For example, if the LED jewelry cabinet lamp is placed in some large shopping malls, we will have higher attractiveness. It is also attractive for decorating, and the decorating effect is also divided into LED spotlights and LED colorful lights.

2, anti-static ability: antistatic ability, strong antistatic ability of LED, long life, but the price will be higher. Antistatic activity is usually better than 700V.

3, the color of LED will be consistent with the wavelength and color temperature. This combination of lamps and lanterns is especially important. Do not produce too much chromatic aberration in the same luminaire.

4. The leakage current is the current of LED in reverse conduction. We recommend using LED products with smaller leakage current.

5, waterproof ability, for outdoor and indoor LED lamp requirements are not the same.

6, the LED lighting angle has great influence on LED lamps and lanterns. It requires a great deal of different lamps. Like LED fluorescent lamps, we recommend using 140-170 degrees. We are not here to explain in detail.

7, the ED chip determines the core quality of LED, the LED chip brand is very large, there are foreign brands (such as CREE, Japan Asia, etc.), also have the Chinese Taiwan (such as Guang GA, crystal yuan, etc.). The price difference between different brands is also very far away.

8. The size of LED wafer also determines the quality and brightness of LED. When we choose, we also try to choose larger chips, but the price is also different.

Four, the 2 reasons leading to LED lamp heating.

1, line design problems: the most commonly used specifications of the LED lamp belt are 12V and 24V two kinds of voltage, 12V is 3 series parallel connection structure, and 24V is 6 serial multiple parallel structure. Because the LED lamp belt is used to connect, the length of each lamp belt can be connected, and the width of the line and the thickness of the copper foil have great relationship with the design. Because the current intensity of the unit area can be related to the cross-sectional area of the line, if the wiring is not taken into account, when the connection length exceeds the current that the line can withstand, the lamp belt will be heated by overcurrent and damage the circuit board at the same time, at the same time, it will also reduce the life of the LED.

2, the production process problems: as the LED lamp belt is series and parallel structure, therefore, when a short circuit occurs in a certain group of circuits, it will cause other LED voltages of the same group to rise, the brightness of LED will increase, and the corresponding heat generation will also increase. The most obvious thing is in the 5050 light band. When any chip circuit in the 5050 lights is short circuited, it will cause a short-circuit of the lamp bulb current doubling, that is, 20mA will turn to 40mA, the brightness of the bulb will become very bright, but at the same time the heat will also increase sharply, and will burn the circuit board in a few minutes. However, this problem is rather obscure. Generally, it will not be noticed. Because the short-circuit does not affect the normal luminescence of the lamp belt. If the staff responsible for the test is only concerned about whether the LED is luminous, and does not check the brightness anomalies, or does not do the appearance check, it will often ignore the problem. Why is it that many LED lights manufacturers always encounter customer complaints that the product is hot but they can't find the reason?

Solution:

1, line design:

As far as possible, the wiring is wide enough. The spacing between the lines is 0.5mm enough, and the rest space is preferably full. The thickness of the copper foil is thickened as far as possible without violating the requirements of the customer for the total thickness of the circuit board. The thickness of the copper foil is 1~1.5 OZ.

2, production technology:

A, when printing solder paste, try not to allow tin bonding between the pads, avoiding the occurrence of welding short circuiting due to poor printing.

B and patch avoid short circuit.

C, check the placement position before reflow.

D, after reflow, do the appearance check first, make sure that the light strip is not short circuited, then do the electrical survey again. When reviewing, notice whether the LED is abnormal or abnormal after lighting.

Five, matters needing attention in LED lamp maintenance.

1, anti static: because LED is an electrostatic sensor, if you do not do a good job of anti static measures when repairing LED lights, you will burn LED and cause waste. What we need to pay attention to here is that the soldering iron must be used with antistatic iron. At the same time, the maintenance personnel must also take precautions against static electricity (such as wearing electrostatic rings and anti-static gloves).

2, continuous high temperature: the two important components of LED lamp belt, LED and FPC, are unsustainable high temperature resistant products. If FPC continues high temperature or exceeds its bearing temperature, it will make the FPC covering film blister and directly cause the LED lamp belt to be scrapped. At the same time, LED can not tolerate high temperature continuously, and its chips will burn out at high temperature for a long time. Therefore, the soldering iron used for repairing the LED lamp belt must adopt the temperature control soldering iron, and limit the temperature to a range. In addition, even in this case, it is also necessary to notice that the iron should not stay in the foot of LED for more than 10 seconds during maintenance. If it exceeds this time, it will probably burn the LED chip.

3, short circuit: many LED lights are defective because there is a short circuit at the foot position, and the real bad reasons must be identified before maintenance. Otherwise, after replacing the bad LED hastily, it will continue to cause short circuit current breakdown of the LED chip when it is energized again. Therefore, before changing the new LED, we must first find out the real cause of the bad, and prescribe the right medicine to get twice the result with half the effort.

Six, nine factors affecting the price of the lamp belt

When purchasing LED lights, don't just focus on prices. Now teach you from the following aspects to comprehensive assessment, in order to buy the best price performance LED lamp belt.

1, the chip used in LED lamp belt: the chip has domestic and Taiwan chips, as well as imported chips (including American chips, Japanese chips, German chips, etc.). Chips differ, and prices vary widely. At present, the most expensive chip is the US chip, followed by Japanese chips and German chips, and the Taiwan chip is the most expensive one. What chips should be adopted? What kind of effect should we achieve? Before you buy, you should know your mind first.

2, LED packaging: resin packaging and silicone packaging. The price of resin packaging is cheaper, because the heat dissipation is slightly worse, the rest are the same. The silicone package has a good heat dissipation performance, so the price is slightly more expensive than that of the resin package.

3, LED color consistency: at present, there are many packaging factories in China, and there are thousands of them together. There are many small packaging factories, because there is no color separation machine, so it is either color separation or external hair, so the quality is very difficult to guarantee. LED without color separation, its color uniformity is poor, the effect is not so good when lit on LED lamp belt, of course, the price difference is relatively large.

4, LED welding effect: LED lamp belt assembly break-up welding and machine welding two kinds, manual welding is soldering iron, the most primitive way to weld. This way of operation comes out of the appearance of the product is unsightly (the size of solder joints is inconsistent, the flux remains more, the solder joints are not smooth, the LED package is blanching, etc.), two is the static electricity protection measures are not good, many LED chips are broken, resulting in the phenomenon of light or not bright when the power is on.
