AtmEL (C) Corporation recently announced the launch of AT42QT1060, which is a combination of 6 channel touch sensing touch control chip. The chip is capable of driving up to 7 low current light emitting diodes (LED) by pulse width modulation output function. The operating voltage of the device is 5.5VDC-1.8VDC, in standby mode, the power consumption is less than 1uA, so that the battery life longer. AT42QT1060 series is the newest member of the capacitive touch controller series. These controller families include QTouch and QMatrix (TM) controllers for single and multi touch buttons, touch scroll bars, and touch wheels.
