Be careful United States announced new ANSI road and regional lighting standards

American Association of electrical manufacturers announced the national Committee (ANSI Accredited Standards) C136 release of the new ANSI C136.38-2015 National Road and regional lighting standards - induction lamps. This standard specifies the electronic and mechanical requirements for inductive light sources for road and area lighting. Induction lighting is a type of fluorescent lamp technology, there are two kinds of commercial induction lamp: ring lamp and electrodeless discharge lamp.

Previously issued in 2009 ANSI ASC C136 road and regional lighting standards have been revised to conform to the actual state of the industry and to clarify the specification.
