According to the Xiaoxiang Morning Post, in the afternoon of March 18th, the interlayer on the top of a lamp decoration at the Changsha Red Star Building Material Trading Center suddenly started to fire. After the smoke, the neighbours formed a temporary fire brigade to tear open the advertising signs above the shop and put out a scaffolding. Then the fire was extinguished by the fire fighters.

In the morning of March 19th, the fire brigade dispatched workers to the scene of the fire.

Mr. Xia of the TCL lighting on the opposite side of the fire shop said that many of the neighbors were involved in the fire, and he also raised 3 fire extinguishers to help.

About 10 minutes, the firefighters came in, half an hour or so, and the fire was completely extinguished. As a result of the fire extinguishing, some signs beside the fire face were affected, and the fire did not affect other residents.
