Because of electric shock hazard, GE announced the recall of 92000 branch of LED lamp lighting

According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission 6, announced on its official website information display, due to the existence of the risk of electric shock, GE announced the recall of two LED lighting lamp.

The recall of products for cold white general T8/T12 LED lamp, specifically contains 31243 LED tubes and 13T8U840 LED tube set, recall the number reached 46000 sets, namely 92000 tubes. This type of lamp is mainly used in the basement, garage, workshop and room etc.. Printed with the GE logo and type of information on the label side lamp base.

GE lighting said in the installation / disassembly process, one end of the lamp may be energized, resulting in the risk of electric shock. Consumers should contact the GE lighting company immediately to obtain the safe removal of LED tube instructions, and received $17 gift card refund form. Before trying to replace the LED lamp, consumers should ensure that the lamp switch is in the "off" state.
