Beyond "go to power", no power LED lights come out

Have you ever thought of using your body as a source of power? Mini torch Lumen can make your dreams come true. Lumen is a super mini flashlight, not connected to the power supply, no batteries, as long as you move your fingers, it will shine. Its designer, Ross Zhuravskiy, says the small flashlight can be "permanently" illuminated when used properly.

The small torch is equipped with a TEG (thermoelectric generator) to generate current

The Lumen is equipped with a thermoelectric generator, the ceramic rod, when it detects a temperature that produces a current. It works very simply. When you touch the TEG with your fingers, its upper and lower ends form a temperature difference that generates an electric current to light the bulb of the flashlight. Designer Ross Zhuravskiy said, the body temperature is about 98 degrees (F degrees Fahrenheit), the ambient temperature is about 82 DEG F, the current temperature can make Lumen produce about 15 mA, 3V, Lumen built-in enough to light the size of a 5mm CREE LED lamp, the light output can be up to 3000 mCd. When the temperature difference is greater, excess energy is stored.

The shell of Lumen has two kinds of materials, one is aluminium, one is titanium, the weight is about 35 grams and 45 grams respectively. In addition to the different materials, Lumen is also divided into ordinary version and an advanced version, a version of the built-in advanced tritium gas pipe, can continuously light for more than 10 years, therefore, even in the dark room, you can easily find the use of tritium gas emitting "small guy".
