Boeing 787 LED lamps designated DLE supplied (Figure)

Boeing has designated the German DLE (Diehl Luftfahrt Elektronik) as the LED lighting system suppliers, the lighting system will be used for the new Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft cabin. Boeing claims that the LED system allows the 787 cabin to set the ambient light from sunrise to sunset, making it a more comfortable and casual experience. In addition, LED technology also provides additional advantages such as lower maintenance costs and longer temporary repair intervals.

The system by LED technology completely rely on indirect ceiling lamps, wall wash wash lamps, lamp, lamp and key entrance corridor lighting lamp. DLE President Wolfgang Helbach said: "LED lighting system in the interior of the plane has the meaning of mileage card. It is also the first major application of LED technology in the conventional lighting applications of Boeing aircraft. We are very excited about being part of the Dreamliner team."
