CI Lumen low power LED backlight scheme for high brightness outdoor applications

CI Lumen recently launched a new LED backlight solution, applied to the brightness rating of 800nit (or higher) of the high brightness display, the display is usually used outdoors. Allegedly, the use of this patented technology, you can not increase the power consumption and temperature management requirements while improving its brightness.

According to CI Lumen said that this unique solution is suitable for the size of 5-19 inches, the brightness of 800nit ~ 1300nit, monitors from different manufacturers, and the power consumption is very low. For example, a typical CI Lumen LED backlight technology 15 inch display, 1000nit brightness power consumption is only 24W, and the use of cold cathode fluorescent lamp (CCFL), with the same brightness display, power consumption is as high as 65W.
