CREE and Emson to resolve patent disputes, and reached a supply agreement

The day before, CREE (CREE) issued a press release said that the company has with E. Mishan and Sons ("Emson") is a patent infringement lawsuit reached a confidential settlement. In addition, Emson agreed to sign an exclusive supply agreement with the company, for its high performance tactical procurement Cree high power LED flashlight.

According to statistics, in November last year, CREE filed a complaint with the Emson of American Business District Court of Massachusetts, accused Emson flashlight products infringe its LED technology patents, including Bell + Howell Taclight.

Cree LED, senior vice president and general manager Dave Emerson said: "Cree on the intellectual property protection of the litigation results happy, Cree will continue its efforts to protect consumers and suppliers from the application and market of unauthorized LED violation. We look forward to working with the Emson to provide quality products, including high quality Cree LED chip and component."

After years of intensive research and development, Cree has developed extensive patent portfolio LED, there are many patents pending.
