CREE personnel changes: the appointment of a new senior vice president of global marketing

The day before, CREE (CREE) announced the appointment of Thomas Wessel as senior vice president of global marketing, the appointment date from February 19, 2018. Wessel Gregg Lowe (directly to the president of CREE) responsible, responsible for Wolfspeed power supply and RF and the CREE LED component business sales and marketing.

Thomas Wessel has a global sales and marketing for more than 20 years of leadership experience in the semiconductor industry, has been involved in automotive, industrial, electronic and communications market. Before joining CREE, he worked in NanoSemi company, and served as vice president of sales and marketing. Previously, he served as ADI's senior vice president of sales and marketing, leading the company to achieve eight consecutive quarters of growth. He also served as TI Atlantik and Elektronik sales and marketing manager.

CREE CEO Gregg Lowe said, "Thomas has sales, marketing and business leadership success in CREE into the market. CREE Wolfspeed power and RF and LED component technology to the development of today's most demand, market success is very important. We believe that Thomas will help us to fully tap the potential of CREE."
