Canada recalled Chinese made "Litetronics" brand halogen bulb

Recently, the Canadian Ministry of health and Shanghai Haifeng Lighting Appliance Co., Ltd. (Shanghai Hai Feng Lighting Co.) jointly announced the implementation of China's Litetronics brand MR16 series halogen bulbs voluntary recall Electrical.

The recall products for the "Litetronics" brand MR16 series halogen bulbs, has been CSA certification (Canadian Standards Association certification), the certification document number is 215548. The product information related to the recall is as follows:

The recall of the product in April 2015 -2016 in Canada in April sold about 9898 pieces. The reason for the recall of the bulb in the center of the contact piece (Thecentre contacts) can soften and break or fall off at any time caused by poor electrical contact, triggering a potential risk of electric shock. Up to now, the Ministry of health has not received any reports relating to the use of the product or personal injury. Shanghai Haifeng Lighting Electrical Appliance Co., Ltd. received 1 reports from Canada on the contact center of the bulb. Personal injury report not yet received.

The Department of Health recommends that consumers immediately stop using the recalled products and dispose of them in accordance with the requirements of the local municipal waste disposal.
