According to the road map shows that the specific steps of the elimination of incandescent lamps in China are as follows:

The first stage: from November 1, 2011 to September 30, 2012 for the transition period, the relevant importers, distributors should be in accordance with the requirements of this announcement, do a good job in preparation for elimination.

The second stage: from October 1, 2012, prohibit the import and sale of more than 100 watts and ordinary incandescent lamps.

The third stage: from October 1, 2014, prohibit the import and sale of more than 60 watts and ordinary incandescent lamps.

The fourth stage: from October 1, 2015 to September 30, 2016 for the interim evaluation period, the assessment of the previous policy, adjust the follow-up policy.

The fifth stage: from October 1, 2016, prohibit the import and sale of more than 15 watts and ordinary incandescent lamps, or as a result of the interim assessment adjustments.
