China flat-panel TVs is expected to reach 1 million 500 thousand units during the year

In the fierce competition in the market, foreign brand competition has also undergone great changes. LCD TV market in 2005 1-6 month by Hisense, Xoceco, SKYWORTH three strong leadership, total sales share reached 37%, and three of the gap is very small. TCL, Changhong, Konka, Haier and other brands also are at top speed, domestic brands have absolute advantages in sales, the total market share of around 75%, foreign brands still occupy the high-end market price, SHARP and PHILPS is a leader. Plasma TV market, Matsushita with brand influence and leading technology is still not the leader, but the lead has quietly become smaller with higher cost, Xoceco won the recognition of consumers, sales share necks, ranking second. While domestic brands Hisense, SKYWORTH, Changhong, Haier and Hitachi, Samsung, PHILPS, foreign brands, LG sales share are relatively close, the market battle is very fierce. Market research firm predicted that the year 2005 LCD TV market size of up to 95 to 1 million units, plasma TV reached 48 to 500 thousand units, flat annual market size is expected to reach 1 million 500 thousand units. The next 3 to 5 years of China's flat-panel TV market will continue to maintain high growth.
