Chinese made Top-max brand LED lights in the EU was banned from sale

The European Commission rapid alert system for non food (RAPEX) issued a consumer warning to China Top-max brand LED bulb, informed by the case of the UK, the notification of product power is 4 watts, lamp GU10, model H45396P4, bar code is 81098, the product in the organization for economic cooperation and development (Industrial Classification code OECD Porta lCategory) 78000000 (electrical).

There is a serious risk of leakage of the above products, the product line is through the welding process, rather than through mechanical connections. The transformer in the lamp body can be touched, the metal parts of the bulb will be conductive to bring the risk of electric shock to consumers. The product does not meet the requirements of the EU low voltage directive and the relevant European standards EN62560 and EN62471.

At present, the EU has taken the above-mentioned products to withdraw from the market and the recall of coercive measures.
