Chip prices driven, in August the global LED bulb prices bottomed

TrendForce LEDinside of State Science and technology industry's brand LED (LED China online) latest price report pointed out that since August LED chip manufacturers prices, resulting in terminal prices slowed, bulb prices will remain stable in the short term.

LEDinside analyst Yu Bin pointed out that from the August LED bulb price, global replace 40W incandescent lamp LED bulb price retail price of $9.4, down only 0.4%; replace 60W incandescent lamp bulb LED, the retail price of $12.8, down 0.3%.

LED chip price, package price stability

LED packaging part of China, in August 2835 packaged product prices remained stable, significantly stabilized. Due to the small power LED chip first price increase, it is estimated that 2835 of the medium and small power products will be raised in the short term; the power of the product is due to the United States, South Korea and other parts of the international manufacturers, resulting in lower prices. Yu Bin said that in August the small power chip prices, other chip short-term prices will be steady, so the components of price stability under the condition of Chinese LED package with a small number of products prices in the short term, the majority of product prices remained stable.

Upstream price bottomed out, the ball bubble lamp prices generally flat

Replace the 40W part, the United Kingdom, the largest decline in prices, up to 2%, some of the products in the promotional price fell significantly. Such as PHILPS 8W470lm ball bubble lamp, down 16.2%. German prices fell 1.1%, the majority of product prices steady, only a few fell slightly. Chinese prices fell 0.8%, mainly due to a small number of manufacturers to adopt price promotions, such as Foshan 7W500lm bulb prices fell to $2.81, a decline of up to 12%. Elsewhere prices remain stable.

Instead of 60W parts, most of the product prices remained stable, the United States and the United Kingdom prices fell slightly larger, respectively, 2.4% and 2.2%. Part of the product promotion, such as GE lighting bulb 11W800lm, the price fell to $6.53, a decline of 16%. The United Kingdom also has some of the larger price drop, such as PHILPS 9.5W806lm bulb, the price fell to $8.88, a decline of 23%. Other regions prices steady.
