Cree launched multi chip white LED to achieve a breakthrough lighting level applications

CREE launched a breakthrough lighting level LED, can replace the traditional inefficient bulbs. Cree XLamp Easy White LED delivers brightness up to 1500 lumens, 75Lm/W, with a breakthrough package design for Mpl.

XLamp MPL LED EasyWhit provides the ability to replace traditional light source performance, color consistency and lumen density and is the industry's smallest package.

Directional lighting using a multi chip XLamp MPL LED is the most appropriate, including PAR or BR EasyWhite bulbs. Through proper system design, the MPL Easy LED White can provide the equivalent of BR-30 bulbs light output, power consumption is only equivalent to 22% of the traditional incandescent lamp, or even less. This will meet the energy requirements of the energy star. Compared with the single chip LED, it can simplify the design and manufacture, improve product consistency, accelerate the overall product launch time.

The XLamp EasyWhite LED has up to 1500 lumens at a 250 Ma and compact type of 12 mm x 13 mm package, the size of which is only comparable to that of a LED device of 28%. This is a commercial product.
