Cree single chip LED flux breakthrough 1000 lumens

CREE, leader of LED lighting devices, announced its research and development of single core LED chip breakthrough 1000 lumens - this is equivalent to an ordinary home lighting lighting capacity. CREE's achievements in the field of LED research and development of its leading position, but also further confirmed the feasibility of replacing traditional LED bulb.

A single chip LED, the use of 4A drive current, cold white version reached 1050 lumens, warm white to reach 760 lumens. Cold white light efficiency of 72 lumens / watt, while warm white is up to 52 lumens / watt. These two LED light effects are significantly beyond the current level of ordinary incandescent bulbs. According to CREE, Cree's Lab products will be commercially available in 12 to 24 months.

"Cree's XLamp series LED is currently the most efficient commercial product, but we will not be satisfied until the incandescent lamp has been completely replaced. "John Edmond, co founder of Cree, senior optoelectronic technology director added," we have spent 20 years in the efficiency of the lighting level LED upgrade, and now we still have enough ways to continue to improve.
