Cypress launched the new CapSense Express touch sensing solutions

Cypress Semiconductor today (27) announced the launch of the CapSense Express capacitive touch sensing solutions that can be used to replace the key and slider. The CapSense Express solution allows designers to build 10 buttons and / or sliders within 5 minutes without the need for language coding. PSoC Express visual embedded system design tools and CapSense Express settings tool allows designers to use a graphical interface, you can instantly monitor and adjust the key and slider. CY8C201X0 CY8C201X2 and CapSense Express devices have 10 capacitive and / or general I/O (GPIO) components, provide design flexibility strong, can be used with buttons, slider, and universal function components, like LED control and interrupt output function. In terms of battery power applications, these components can have operating mode current 1 mA, and the sleep mode current is only a low power consumption of 2.6 A. This new element can support a wide range of operating voltages ranging from 2.4V to 5.25V, as well as industrial grade temperature ranges from 85 degrees Celsius to minus 40 degrees celsius. In addition, this new component is equipped with 2 Kb of Flash memory and I2C communication interface, so that designers can choose to start the adjustment value stored in the Flash memory, or through the I2C interface to download. New CY8C201X0 and CY8C201X2 CapSense Express components are now available. Currently available in 8 and 16 pin SOIC packages with a 16 pin QFN package. Cypress provides 3 evaluation kits for designers using CapSense Express solutions. CY3218-CAPEXP1 suite with 3 CapSense buttons, 3 backlit LED, the state of the LED display of the 3, as well as the 1 Mechanical buttons. The CY3218-CAPEXP2 kit offers 5 - stage slide bars, 4 LED in the display state, and 1 Mechanical buttons. CY3218-CAPEXP3 is equipped with 2 CapSense buttons, 2 display state of LED, and with a minimum of 8 pin SOIC package.
