Delta state government intends to install LED display board to raise revenue

According to foreign media reports Channels21TV, Nigeria Delta, the government said, hope that through the upcoming statewide strategic installation of the LED display board to earn income, every year up to 65 million naira (Nigeria currency, equivalent to about 1 million 426 thousand and 700 yuan RMB).

This is the result of a state government's consideration of other ways to raise funds to support its income base, according to a state official.

The State Energy Bureau member Newworld Mr. Safugha held in the capital (Asaba) said to attend the event, the state government is aware of the country's worsening economic recession trend, steps are being taken to dig through all internal revenue sources (IGR) to actively respond to this situation.

He said, according to the national economic growth slowed down and take palliative measures have achieved results, the state government and a private investors signed an agreement, the investors expect the takeover of the state government resettlement in the state strategic LED display panel operation.

Safugha told reporters: "the state of the LED display board information, advertising, has signed a lease agreement with Messrs Wall integrated services limited.

The Committee further explained that the LED display board is used in electronic engineering and technology dissemination of public information and advertising, each year will earn 65 million naira for the state government.

He also explained that these facilities will be installed in the lease period, is expected to contribute 50 million naira and 15 million naira income in the city and rural areas.

"The revenue will increase the total revenue of the Delta," Safugha added.
