Diodes launches LED driver for lighting

Recently, ASIC, a global manufacturer and supplier of discrete and analog semiconductor Diodes, has added 3 micro LED drives to the Zetex LED drive family to provide higher accuracy and thermal performance. These highly integrated components including ZXLD-1352, ZXLD-1356 and ZXLD-1366, which has TSOT23-5 and thermal enhanced DFN6 package, 350mA, 550mA and 1A respectively with the adjustable output current, suitable for different types of cars, buildings and industrial lighting applications, a wide range of.

It is understood that the typical output current accuracy of ZXLD1356 and ZXLD1366 is higher than 1%, can be as high as 60V of the operating voltage, provide a fairly accurate current ratio. These two components using TSOT23-5 and 3x3 mm DFN6 package, capable of outputting the power of 30W and 48W, respectively, in the need for minimum space and the highest efficiency of the application to support up to 15 LED. The ZXLD1352 uses a 2.8x2.9 mm TSOT23-5 package and operates from 7V to 30V supply voltage. It is capable of generating up to 350mA of output current, and provides up to 8W power to drive up to 10 LED. This driver's PWM dimming is higher than 1000:1, can provide highly flexible brightness control and accurate color mixing efficiency.

The new ZXLD driver is continuous mode inductive step-down converter, especially for driving single or multiple high brightness LED and design, using only 3 simple separate external components to support, the biggest feature is the easy assembly and operation. As long as the introduction of a PWM or DC to meet the requirements of the current control signal, you can easily adjust the nominal output current set by resistors. In addition, only a weak control signal, you can turn off the output, the driver is placed in standby mode.
