Doe releases full LED lamp test requirements

Recently, the U.S. Department of energy (DOE) released on integral LED lamps (integrated LED lamp) the testing procedures of the federal register. Integral LED lamp requirements to enter the United States must be related to the test according to the test program requirements in a qualified laboratory, to obtain the total luminous flux, input power, light effect, color temperature, color index, power factor, life and standby power data. The law came into force in August 1, 2016 and was enforced in December 28, 2016. In accordance with the requirements of this regulation, tests for the above parameters shall be carried out in accordance with the standards of LM-79, LM-84, TM-28 and IEC6 2301 respectively. In addition, since August 1, 2016, the LED Lighting DOE control Facts label (color label) will be suspended to submit to accept the new alternative to Lamps all the DOE, because the new integrated LEDLamps test program: DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY 10 CFR Parts 429 and 430 [Docket No.EERE - 2011 - BT - TP - 0071] in August 1, 2016 take effect. And, DOE is about to release a non - Monolithic LEDLamps testing program for a non - Monolithic LEDLamps. Any application for column name submitted before August 1, 2016 will continue to be processed. For products that have already been given the DOE LED Lighting Facts column name, they are still left in the network database Database. The LED Lighting Facts working group will further investigate and study the latest DOE regulations and notify all partners immediately upon final decision. DOE LED Lighting Facts will continue to receive LED lamps and refurbished kits submitted. DLC has also modified its requirements on LED Lighting Facts, which will no longer require the submission of LM-79 data from naked tubes to LED Lighting Facts from August 1, 2016. Please note that DLC will continue to receive certification applications for the lamp. This change does not affect DLC's requirement for LEDLightingFacts for other categories of products. About DOE LED Lighting Facts:DOE LED Lighting Facts DOE LEDSSL is the United States Department of energy for solid general lighting products (including: integrated LED bulb, non integral LED lamp, LED lamp, LED retrofit kit) voluntary energy label certification program. Through this project, LED manufacturers can submit samples in the laboratory authorized according to IESNALM-79-08 industry standard test, after the DOE LED Lighting Facts to submit the report names, thus showing its excellent product performance. North America's new standard express: UL 1993 update at present, with the increasing of LED lamp (TypeA/B/C) and LED LED module driver free filament lamp, etc. the constant introduction of new products, UL according to relevant technical requirements of new products, new technology to update the standard. Updates to the new requirements of LED light source products UL certification and UL 1993 standard as follows:
