Dominant introduced a high color rendering index Primax white 0.2W LED

In order to improve the Primax product portfolio, to achieve the lighting market, the Dominant company is expanding the product line gradually, namely 0.2W white and warm white light with high color rendering index (CRI) product, the product model for NA2W-PSCA and NA2F-PSC. These high color rendering index products in line with the U.S. energy star standards and achieved a minimum value of 75 CRI.

When the driving current in the 60mA, the new generation of white LED can achieve "cold white light", the average luminous intensity of 5200mcd (12.6lm), while the "warm white light" was designated the average luminous intensity of 5000mcd (10.5lm). Their color rendering index is 75, with an average value of 80, indicating that they have the ability to apply to all lighting applications. Package size is only 3.5mm (long) x 3.5mm (wide) x 1.2mm (high), and the luminous angle of 120 degrees.

Primax LED is characterized by small package, high luminous intensity and excellent light efficiency, therefore, the product is ideal for backlighting and decorative lighting. The performance of the LED will also help improve the general lighting, channel lighting and innovative applications in the field of high precision automotive applications.

The engineering samples are listed, and to mass production began in the early July 2009. (http://www.ledsmagazine.com/products/18764)
