Recently, Dongguan Huazhong University of Science and Technology Engineering Research Institute (ITRI) a Champion Group Co. Ltd and Guangdong Zhi (Zhicheng champion), both sides will cooperate in Guangdong Zhicheng huanic Optoelectronics Equipment Co. Ltd. matters, signed the contract, will push LED chip automatic testing and sorting equipment industrialization.

Current LED sorting mainly has two kinds: one is to test sorting chip based technology, mainly by the United States and Japan have; two is to stop testing packaged LED sorting, mostly provided by the Hongkong and Taiwan manufacturers, the ITRI and Zhicheng champion cooperation belongs to the former.

ITRI developed LED chip automatic detection and sorting technology, September 2010 successfully passed the acceptance, the relevant achievements have formed 30 patents, including two products equipment, has been test run in the enterprise. Its cooperation with Zhicheng champion, with the aid of the winner of the industrial advantages, to achieve LED chip automatic testing and sorting equipment industrialization.
