Dongshan for "brighter lights, more electricity", plans to vote 160 million yuan, the transformation of public lighting facilities

The project plans a total investment of 160 million yuan, is expected to complete the project tender in June, by the end of 2018 to complete the project construction, then, Dongshan County street lamp energy saving rate will be greatly improved.

It is understood that Dongshan County is an island county, water and electricity resources are tense. Especially with the deepening of urban construction, street lamps, night scenes and various night signs are becoming more and more complete, and the demand for electricity is increasing rapidly. In order to make the "brighter lights, more electricity", Dongshan began two years ago to implement the public lighting energy-saving renovation contract energy management project, becoming the province's first implementation of the whole street energy-saving County reform.

As of now, the project has invested 69 million 930 thousand yuan to complete the transformation and construction of the 29 roads, 1870 street, new street rebuilding bar, 503 bar, the old lamp energy saving 1563 bar, and the road lamp installation of intelligent monitoring system. Through the implementation of the project, the energy-saving rate of street lamps to more than 64%, the annual savings of 4 million 872 thousand and 500 kwh of electricity, annual savings of electricity about 3 million 30 thousand yuan.
