Embracing city lighting, crystal energy continues to break through innovation.

In particular, since 2017, China's urban lighting construction has entered an accelerated development track in the context of budgets and efforts to upgrade urban lighting, speed up urbanization and increase urban road transformation and energy saving reconstruction projects, attracting LED, middle and downstream enterprises to compete for layout.

At first, China's LED enterprises were trapped in relatively small scale, relatively lack of professional personnel reserves, and imperfect intellectual property protection system. In recent years, this situation has changed, and the rise of Chinese enterprises has rapidly grabbed market share.

Take the field of LED chips as an example, in the past, the LED chip substrate market was divided into two parts by Sapphire and silicon carbide two technologies, and the core technologies were all in the hands of LED giants such as Europe, America, Japan and Korea. Now, the technology of "silicon substrate high efficiency GaN based blue light-emitting diodes" has broken the monopoly of European and American technology. A Chinese characteristic LED development road, and won the first prize of the 2015 National Science and Technology Invention Award --- the highest award in China's LED industry. This technology will promote the development of Chinese enterprises in the field of urban lighting.

In view of the higher requirement of light source for life in urban lighting, the LED chip with silicon substrate technology will be a better choice. Silicon as a substrate material, compared with the popular sapphire and silicon carbide in the market, has better heat dissipation, thermal conductivity is 5 times that of sapphire (170 to 35), and high thermal conductivity makes silicon substrate LED have longer life and more stable reliability in practical applications.

In addition, urban lighting requires high power LED light source with high illumination, wide range, good optical directivity, small angle and high color consistency. Silicon substrate chips can meet the above requirements well. The silicon substrate chip has uniform current diffusion and has advantages over large current operation. The single chip can achieve 10W at present. Furthermore, the silicon substrate chip is single side light emitting, no side lighting, beam concentration, good directivity and high illumination, She Chengyuan; while ordinary sapphire chips are five sides emitting light, light dispersion, and light beams are not concentrated. For example, the flashlight made of silicon chip can reach a distance of 100 meters.

More importantly, the silicon substrate LED chip also has the advantage of encapsulation. The silicon substrate chip can be directly coated on the surface of the phosphor due to its vertical structure and one-sided luminescence. It ensures the smoothness and uniformity of the phosphor surface, solves the problems of uneven spot and yellow circles, improves the quality of the product and accurately controls the thickness of the phosphor (positive and negative 2um), so that the color temperature concentration can be greatly increased, 1 Bi N (>95%), 3 step. With the traditional phosphor dispensing method, the thickness of the phosphor on the chip surface is different, and the uniformity is difficult to control, resulting in inconsistent light direction in all directions, and uneven yellow spots and uneven spot.

In terms of encapsulation technology, crystal energy has also made breakthroughs. The CSP technology of reflecting bowl cup structure of composite materials is introduced. This is a form without bracket. Compared with five surface emitting CSP, one side luminous CSP and composite reflector bowl cup CSP, the three CSP processes have their own advantages. The five side emitting CSP has high luminous efficiency and large luminous angle, while the single side emitting CSP is beneficial to the two optical design and the central illumination intensity. However, there are insufficient luminance and over reliance on flip chip technology, and chips are easily cracked. The compound reflector bowl structure CSP has the characteristics of single side light and high brightness. The flip chip is protected by composite material, which greatly enhances the reliability of CSP and reduces the failure risk in the application terminal.

It is understood that at present, it is possible to realize the production of composite reflector bowl structure CSP LED only by day ya, crystal energy and Samsung. Landscape and architectural landscape lighting is mainly small and medium power, accounting for 80% of the market. But in some small angle products and high illumination products, ceramic packaging high power LED is the best choice. "

Ceramic packaging has the characteristics of good reliability (good heat dissipation, moisture resistance, corrosion resistance, anti-seismic, anti sulphidation, anti UV), small luminous area, high illumination, high density, single side lighting and so on. In addition, with the decline of raw material prices and the maturity of chip technology in recent years, the price of ceramic packaging products has dropped rapidly, and has been widely used in urban lighting.

"Crystal energy" provides a series of high-power white products for outdoor landscape lighting, street lighting and public lighting, and has been used in many urban lighting projects in Ningbo, Nanchang, Guangzhou, New York and many other cities. In December 2018, crystal energy will also launch CSP products, which is conducive to the design of landscape lighting. " Liang Fubo said.

Of course, in addition to the products used in urban lighting, Jing can also provide automotive lighting, mobile lighting, plant lighting, mobile phone flash, UV LED and infrared LED products, and has been affirmed by the majority of customers.

With the progress and maturity of various technologies, the development of Chinese LED enterprises in the urban lighting field is no longer stagnant, not only has made technological breakthroughs, but also made great progress in terms of scale, talent reserves and intellectual property rights.

As far as crystal energy is concerned, the registered capital is US $123 million, which is set up by Nanchang and the US sales company. The factory covers an area of 1000 mu, and the existing production, R & D and auxiliary plant area exceeds 20000 square meters. At present, the Ministry of science and technology has approved the industrialization base of the national silicon based LED Engineering Research Center. It has MOCVD25 platform for R & D and production, and its equipment value exceeds RMB 1 billion 500 million yuan. In addition, in 2012, we set up a wholly owned subsidiary, Jiangxi crystal and Optoelectronics Co., Ltd., which was put into operation in October 2013.

In terms of patent layout, crystal energy is the only enterprise with complete core patents and layout in China's LED industry. There are more than 340 patents on the silicon substrate LED technology patent pool, with 147 authorized patents, of which 47 are international patents, covering industrial chain extension materials, chips, packaging and applications.

Throughout the industrial chain, the status of Chinese enterprises is becoming more and more prominent, especially in the field of urban lighting.
