Fairview Town, Cree, Dezhou, to join the city plan

Recently, CREE announced that the town of Fairview, Dezhou, has joined the LED city plan. LED city is a global project aimed at promoting the use of low energy LED lighting. The town's newly built four lane Fairview Parkway specifically designed for LED lighting, lighting it's 82 LED street lamps by Sunovia energy technology subsidiary EvoLucia provide.

Compared with traditional metal halide lamps, these lamps can save 50% of electricity consumption. Mayor IsraELoff pointed out that these LED lights can save taxpayers $250000 in their useful life. The new road was originally scheduled to use high-pressure gas discharge lamp lighting, now using LED lights, the annual carbon emissions can be reduced by 1000 pounds.

In addition, the use of advanced optical technology, coupled with the high directivity of the LED light source, the light can be accurately arrived at the place where lighting. In this way, the light on the street is ensured to be uniform, and the illuminating dead angle and unnecessary light pollution are eliminated.

With LED's successful attempt at Fairview Parkway, the town also plans to install the LED lights in this year's newly built fire department and the city hall completed next year. Fairview hopes to become the most environmentally friendly town in Dezhou, the use of LED lights is one of its efforts to achieve this goal.
