In fact, a similar way of street light management is not a new thing in Chongqing. The reason was that "the Yellow warm street lamps had been dotted with the winding mountain road after the night, and the original romantic poetry was lost after the LED street lamp, and the light 'pale' was scary."

In fact, urban lighting is not absolute with yellow and white light. For example, in the hot summer, the white light can make people feel cool, and in the cold winter, warm yellow lights can make people feel warm.

"Street light consumption has accounted for 40% of the city's public electricity, and the promotion of energy saving lamps, such as LED lamps, is the trend of the times." Su Chengyong thought that if the light color of each LED lamp could change with the "chameleon" as the season changed, the yellow and white light of street lighting would not exist. If it could be able to solve the problem of fog and haze lighting, the LED road lamp would be more competitive than the traditional high voltage sodium lamp.

Aiming at this market space, Su Chengyong began to develop the "chameleon" LED street light since 2010.

The "chameleon" street lamp fills the gap

Research and development, easy to say, difficult to do.

After nearly three years of research and development and dozens of failures, Su Cheng solved the technical problem of "discoloration" of LED street lights - the higher the color temperature, the more blue spectral rays, and the more glare of the light. Considering the feelings of the citizens, in spring and Autumn Festival, the light color temperature is adjusted to 3700K (Nuan Baiguang); in summer, the light color temperature is adjusted to 4000K (Zheng Baiguang); in winter, the light color temperature is adjusted to 3500K (Qian Huangguang); in the haze weather, the light color temperature is transferred to 3000K (yellow light).

What makes Su Chengyong happy is that when he applied for a patent to the national patent office in 2013, the patent review procedure showed that the technology was not available at home. Because of the advanced nature of the technology he invented, his enterprise was awarded the title of "national high-tech enterprise".

The new management model helps the chameleon to attack the camp

Two years ago, the "chameleon" LED street lamp was put into the Yuzhong District goose Ridge Tunnel and the Jiulongpo District Chen Jiping tunnel. The Lighting Department of the city and the district was tested by the city and district Lighting Department, which was 70.5% more electricity than the traditional sodium lamp.

Although the cost of the "chameleon" LED lamp is nearly 60% higher than that of the ordinary LED lamp, the luminance is 10% higher than that of the ordinary LED lamp, and the service life is more than twice as long; the cost can be recovered within 10 years by using the contract energy management model to operate the energy-saving renovation project.

The so-called energy management contract means that the energy saving service company signed a contract with the user (government). Under the premise that the user (government) does not spend more than one penny, the energy saving service company provides energy saving diagnosis, financing, transformation and other services for the user (government), and reclaims investment and gains reasonable profit by sharing energy efficiency. Moisten.

With this model, Su Chengyong sold his "chameleon" LED street lamp series to G50 Yu Fu Expressway Tieshan Ping, Huashan tunnel and other lighting energy conservation projects. Customers in Sichuan, Jiangxi, Jilin, Guizhou and Hunan also expressed interest in this product.
