In fact, similar street lighting management in Chongqing is no longer a novelty. In the Yuzhong District, the tunnel of the Ling Ling area, the jijiuling tunnel and the Jiulongpo tunnel, two years ago, we used the "chameleon" LED street lamp (Internet + multi color LED remote intelligent control system) developed by an enterprise in Chongqing. LED lighting "yellow white competition"

Why does a LED street lamp need a variety of colors? It has to start with the "Huang Baiguang dispute" that has been going on for many years in the urban lighting field.

In 2009, Su Chengyong, a legal representative of Chongqing Green Technology Development Co., Ltd., saw such a report.

In the LED street lamp "ten cities ten thousand" experiment, some cities changed the main street lights to the cold white LED lights, the initial effect is pretty good. But a few years later, the competent authorities received complaints from the public, saying that the cold and white LED light appeared to be cold and cold in autumn and winter. In desperation, the municipal department had to replace the LED lamp with high efficiency and energy saving into a yellow high pressure sodium lamp with large energy consumption.

In foreign countries, the cold white LED street lamps are also controversial because of the dazzling light. For example, residents of Berlin, Germany and California have strongly objected to turning street lights into LED lights, on the grounds that "the Yellow warm street lights that had been used to adorn the winding roads after night were replaced by the LED street lamps."

In fact, yellow light and white light are not absolute for urban lighting. For example, in the hot summer, white light will make people feel cool, but in cold winter, warm yellow light will make people feel warm.

"Street lamp consumption accounts for 40% of the city's public electricity, so promoting energy-saving lamps such as LED lights is the general trend." Su Chengyong thought that if every LED lamp's light color can change like the "chameleon" with the seasons, the dispute of street lighting will not exist. If we can solve the problem of haze day lighting, the LED street lamp must be more competitive than the traditional HP lamp.

Aiming at this market space, Su Chengyong began to research and develop the "chameleon" LED streetlights since 2010.

Chameleon street lights fill gaps

R & D is easier said than done.

"A set of LED remote control system and intelligent lamps and lanterns contain more than ten smart chips and hundreds of electronic components. A little neglect can lead to failure. Speaking of the hardships of the research and development process, Su Chengyong's voice became heavy.

After nearly three years of research and development and dozens of failures, Su Cheng Yong has solved the technical problem of "discoloration" of LED street lamps. The higher the color temperature, the more the blue spectral ray is, the more dazzling the light is. Taking into account the feelings of the public, in the spring and Autumn Festival, the light and color temperature will be adjusted to 3700K (Nuan Baiguang); in summer, the light and temperature will be adjusted to 4000K (Zheng Baiguang); in winter, the light and temperature will be adjusted to 3500K (Qian Huangguang); in fog and haze, the light will be adjusted to 3000K (yellow light).

What pleased Su Chengyong was that when he applied for patent to the State Patent Office in 2013, the patent search procedure showed that there was no such technology in China. Because of the advanced nature of the technology he invented, his company was awarded the title of "national high and new technology enterprise".

New management mode helps "chameleon" attack camps

Two years ago, the product of "chameleon" LED street lamp was put into the Yuzhong Ling Ling tunnel, Jiulongpo District, Chen Jiping tunnel and other places. It was tested by the municipal and district lighting departments, and the power consumption was 70.5% compared to the traditional sodium lamp.

Although the cost of the chameleon LED lamp is nearly 60% higher than that of the ordinary LED lamp, its brightness is 10% higher than that of the ordinary LED lamp, and its service life is more than double. The energy saving transformation project of the contract energy management mode is adopted, and the cost can be recovered within 10 years.

The so-called contract energy management refers to the contract signed by the energy saving service company and the user (government). Under the premise that the user (government) does not spend more than one cent, the energy saving service company provides users with energy saving diagnosis, financing, transformation and other services. Moisten.

With this model, Su Chengyong has sold his "chameleon" LED streetlights series products to the G50 energy saving Expressway Tieshan Ping, Huashan tunnel and other lighting energy-saving reconstruction projects. Customers in Sichuan, Jiangxi, Jilin, Guizhou and Hunan also expressed interest in this product.

"We will continue to tackle tough problems and further reduce production costs." Su Chengyong said that his greatest wish is to create more "China created" LED products to the world.
