Finland development of LED light measurement method is expected to save 7 billion 100 million

In fact, accurate measurement and analysis of LED spectra is the most challenging and important part of the study.

He and his co researchers measured the LED illumination in a small area with a detector. The study's leader, Professor Erkki ikonen, said the next step would be to carry out lighting measurements in real life conditions.

In order to measure the luminous efficiency and take into account the light emitting in all directions, the researchers used a device called an integrating sphere. Compared with incandescent and fluorescent lamps, LED has a very short history, and there is little information available on the actual performance and aging performance. In fact, it is necessary to determine the luminous efficiency of LED as accurately as possible, so that it can be extended to the market, as much as possible to convert the energy of the adult eye visible light.

So far, the global LED market share of about 10%, but the rapid increase in the number. Lighting consumes about 20% of the world's electricity. Once the LED market share increased to 50%, LED lamp lighting efficiency measurement accuracy increased by 1%, which means that the annual lighting can save billions of euros (about RMB 7 billion 125 million yuan).
