For the entry-level Analogic mobile phone, the new LED driver AHK3292

For entry-level mobile phones, Analogic Tech published a equipped with LED lights, LCD or keyboard backlight dual channel LED driver AHK3292. The new LED driver has a low resistance current input that supports low voltage drop, thus reducing power consumption and extending battery life, providing a new choice for lighting design for entry-level mobile phones and other mobile products.

It is understood that in the direct 2.7 ~ 5.5V input power supply, AHK3292 can drive up to two LED. The 1X driver IC typical 36mV drop ratio is lower than the competitive level product of at least 20%, very suitable for driving with a low forward voltage drop of LED. Low resistance, low voltage drop current input can support the LED to approach the input supply voltage to remove additional boost converter, and extend battery life. AHK3292 can set the maximum LED current through an external resistor, so that the designer can optimize the linearity, and provide more smooth control. Full scale LED current can be set to the upper limit of 30.2mA. In addition, any LED output current can be controlled by the Analogic Tech simple serial control interface to enable, disable and control. By replacing the pulse width modulation control circuit, the 32 step single line bus saves the cost of the related system microcontroller, and through the constant current digital control to minimize the LED flicker, while reducing noise. AHK3292LED output current accuracy of +/-10%, its LED output current matching degree of +/-3%, and has a low current shutdown mode. AHK3292 rated operating temperature range of -40~+85 DEG C, using lead-free, 6 pin SOT23 package.
