GB7000.1 blue light hazard measurement is about to force, no longer worried about LED blue light hazards

According to the old version of the standard for the certified products, should be implemented in the standard date after the first check before the end of the new version of the standard conversion submitted certification application to the center; all the old version of the standard certificate conversion work completed in December 31, 2017 at the latest, fails to complete, the center will suspend the old version of the standard certificate. After March 31, 2018 has not yet completed the conversion of the certificate, will revoke the old version of the standard certificate.

The new version of the standard has increased the requirements for blue light hazards

Compared with the old standard, the new version of the standard in a number of amendments, one of the important increase in the requirements of the blue light hazards, such as:

For the LED or LED module with integrated lighting should be based on IEC/TR62778 blue light hazard assessment;

For portable and Nightlight for children, measured in 200mm blue light hazard level at a distance of not more than RG1;

The movable lamp and lanterns, if the blue light hazard rating measured at 200mm at a distance of more than RG1, you need to mark "don't stare at the light" symbol in the lamp outside the striking position, as shown below.

For fixed lamps, if the level of the blue light at the 200mm distance is more than RG1, it is necessary to determine the critical distance of the lamp at RG1.

Blue light hazards, has been a hot issue of concern. According to the standard IEC62471, the blue light hazard mainly refers to the photochemical reaction caused by the optical radiation between 300nm-700nm, which can lead to the damage of retina. Due to the rich blue light component of LED products, and the exposed LED light source brightness is often very high, so there may be a risk of blue light hazards LED lamps.
