Guangdong's LED output value reached 281 billion 100 million in 2013.

In May 27th, we learned from the provincial science and technology department that as of now, 4 cities such as Dongguan have already completed the transformation task of street lighting and other LED lighting products.

According to the provincial government's deployment in May 2012, the 9 cities in the Pearl River Delta should complete the LED transformation in the field of public lighting such as streetlights in 2 years. According to the latest statistics of the provincial science and Technology Department, the LED transformation and transformation work of the Pearl River Delta cities has been completed by 91%, of which Dongguan, Zhongshan, Jiangmen and Zhao Qingyi have completed the task of transformation.

According to statistics, in 2013, there were 1321 batches of LED lamps, including 2 million 420 thousand street lamps and 1 million 100 thousand tunnel lamps, 1 million 320 thousand landscape lamps and indoor lamps. By the end of 2013, 1 million 200 thousand LED lamps had been installed and put into use in the province, and 61% of the total tasks will be completed in 2014, reaching 2 million in the country.

With the LED industry getting warmer last year, Guangdong's more than 20 thousand LED enterprises are ushering in the industry's "spring". The provincial semiconductor lighting industry joint innovation center, Shenzhen LED Association and other units jointly issued the Guangdong provincial LED industry operation monitoring report. Monitoring data show that in 2013, the output value of LED industry in the province increased significantly over the previous year, reaching 281 billion 103 million yuan, and the data in the first quarter of this year were more optimistic. The output value of the first quarter was 59 billion 296 million, an increase of 22.19% over the same period last year.
