Guangdong provincial government issued the "Office of the Guangdong Provincial People's Government on the promotion of energy-saving environmental protection industry development" put forward, to 2015, energy-saving environmental protection industry output value reached 600 billion yuan.

Foster a number of energy saving and environmental protection backbone enterprises, the annual output value of 5 billion yuan enterprises reached 10, over 1 billion yuan of 50 enterprises, and gradually cultivate energy-saving environmental protection industry as one of the new pillar industry in Guangdong Province, provide strong support for achieving the goals of energy saving and emission reduction in Guangdong province "in 12th Five-Year".

According to the opinion, Guangdong province will promote energy-saving and environmental protection products, including speeding up the promotion of industrial energy-saving technologies and equipment, vigorously promote energy-efficient appliances, green lighting to promote LED industrialization demonstration, promotion of new energy vehicles and a number of specific initiatives.
