Hangzhou is going to eliminate more than 1000 dark corners in the dark area this year.

By the end of 2012, the Hangzhou City Administration Committee's lighting Supervision Center made a thorough investigation in the whole city, and found that there were more than 3000 blind spots in the main urban area. Hangzhou plans to spend three years to brighten up these dark areas.

Time is always faster than we think. Through two years of hard work, Hangzhou now has more than 2000 dark areas brightening. This year is the end of the year to eliminate the dark areas of lighting. Hangzhou will also eliminate or lighten 1000 dark areas of streets and alleys and walkways.

At present, these more than 1000 dark areas are still being investigated at the scene. After the exploration, the dark area that meets the installation conditions will enter the project. The fastest first batch is expected to start in July this year.

The more than 500 street lamps will be overhauled for renovation this year.

What blocks and corners of the more than 1000 dark areas are distributed in Hangzhou this year?

The lighting Center said that it is currently on the scene. However, after the previous year and last year's project, the elimination of dark areas in Hangzhou residential areas basically ended. This year, they will work hard on darker roads and river trails. The dark area roughly now is mainly concentrated in three.

One is the dark area of the public's calls, letters and visits last year, about more than 200. These points could not be included in the plan last year and will be solved one after another this year.

The other part is the major renovation project to be carried out this year. There are about five hundred or six hundred points in the investigation, accounting for more than half of this year's target.

"These overhaul and renovation projects have a wide scope, including dark squares, main secondary roads and old communities. Because of the long use time of lamps and lanterns, there are problems such as aging, dilapidated and insufficient brightness. This year will be renewed one by one. "

At present, the lighting center's preliminary statistics on the need for major repair and renovation projects are 10 years or more. For example, the Jinhua road located in Gongshu District, where the street lamps are basically set before 2006, this time we need to update the 30 street lamps from Deng Yun Road to Huzhou street.

The rest of the dark area comes from the riverside walkway with no lighting. It is estimated that two hundred or three hundred points can be brightened up.

The trail along the river will continue to light up this year.

In fact, Hangzhou has made some attempts last year. This is also a highlight of last year's elimination of dark areas in Hangzhou -- along the northern side of the Shan River (Huanglong road Yuquan building), the southern side of Yuhang Tanghe (Moganshan Road provincial Party School), Feng Jiahe (Tianmu Mountain Road Yuhang Tanghe) and the Shahe section of Shangchao park. Tour trail has been the first to light up last year, with a total of about 200 new lighting fixtures.

This year, what other rivers along the river will light up in Hangzhou? The center of lighting said that at present, there are initially identified Xihu District along the mountain river, the west ring River, the ancient New River and the rear lane in Gongshu District; the six pond in the lower reaches of the city, Wen Yang (see photo).

Xihu District City Administration Bureau said, along the mountain river (Yuquan building to jade ancient road) this river is about 300 meters long, along the gem two road, friendship new village, Taoyuan new village, Xixi Road District and many other old communities.

It flows through the Zijin harbor campus of Zhejiang University, where the traffic flow is relatively dense, such as Yijiang, Wen Ding Yuan and Tong Ren square. It is also because the lighting facilities have not kept up, and become darkened at night.

Xihu District City Administration Bureau said that after the approval of the two river courses, there will be a courtyard lantern every 25-30 meters in the future. At that time, the surrounding residents would have a place to take a walk.
