Heavy pound! OSRAM bidding

M.L.S. (002745.SZ) November 6th evening announcement, to enhance the competitiveness of enterprises, optimize the integration of industry resources, the company board of directors agreed to bid for the OSRAM Licht AG (OSRAM) part of the lighting business assets, and to authorize the chairman of sun Qinghuan on behalf of the company to negotiate acquisitions and signed the relevant documents.

Previously, the existing audio (600651.SH) intends to OSRAM issued a non binding letter, audio and related parties or through a new special purpose acquisition (SPV), the main channel business expected to buy German OSRAM plans to spin off.

OSRAM is the world's second largest lighting company, its business channels mainly include CLB (traditional lighting and ballast) and LL&S (LED lamp and system), has the world famous brand OSRAM (OSRAM) and Sylvania (Sylvania), covering about 150 countries and large sales channels.

April 2015, OSRAM announced its spin off channel business plan, and is expected to be completed within 12 months of the spin off business. In June 2015, OSRAM's Board approved the plan. OSRAM's channel business spin off is mainly related to the division of lighting products, brand licensing program, the restructuring plan of the global plant, etc..
