IBM invested $200 million to cooperate with Japanese companies to develop nano chips

It is reported that IBM and the Japanese company will develop a photomask technology, the new photomask technology will provide the possibility of 0.045 micron chip production. The new technology will make the distance between the transistors on a chip by 0.09 microns and 0.065 microns to 0.045 microns can be reduced, reducing the size of the chip, or more transistors on the chip, greatly enhance the computing ability of hardware equipment. All R & D and testing will be completed in the United States, and then be applied to the Japanese manufacturing plant.
