In 2011, Taiwan 700 thousand sets of traffic lights will all use LED

In April 23rd, the executive yuan of Taiwan passed the "green energy industry CXS program". The Taiwan Ministry of economic planning, green energy industry will become the new trillion dollar industry in 2015, most notably the 2011 Taiwan leader in Europe, will be the first 700 thousand sets of traffic lights all use LED.

Green energy industry CXS program is divided into two parts. One is the "energy" is the solar photoelectric planes, and LED lighting industry in Taiwan has a good industrial base, another "Hot Wheels" energy, wind power is still at the stage of development, technology, biofuels, electric vehicles. In the next five years, the government will invest NT $25 billion to promote renewable energy and energy conservation and subsidies, and invest in R & D funding of 20 billion, is expected to drive more than 200 billion private investment.

Taiwan's economy minister Yin Qiming pointed out that the green energy industry forecast to 2015 output value of up to 1 trillion trillion yuan 158 billion yuan, has become a new industry, will create 110 thousand jobs per year. Green energy industry CXS program will be driven by five major policies, to build Taiwan to become the world's top three largest producer of solar cells, the world's largest LED light source and module supply.
