In the latest half LED driver oscillator frequency can be set

National Semiconductor Corporation Ns (National Semiconductor Corporation, referred to as the country's half) announced the launch of a set of the oscillator frequency serial inductor boost white light-emitting diode (LED) driver LM2707. The driver chip can work in the input voltage range of 2.3V to 7V, and is suitable for the backlight display system and other general lighting systems with only one lithium battery.

If LED is serially connected between the output terminal and a low voltage feedback pin, LM2707 driver chip LED can provide highly stable current, but also ensure that different LED can maintain uniform brightness, even LED driving efficiency can be improved to more than 80%.

LM2707 chip to drive 3 LED, each driving current can reach 30mA; drive 4 LED, each driving current can reach 20mA; drive 6 LED (each on 3, a total of two strings), each driving current can reach 15mA. With the high speed pulse width modulation (PWM) brightness control function, overvoltage protection, minimum 18V, typical 19V, the highest 20V, and a surge voltage and inductor current limiting, without external voltage compensation circuit, also can set the frequency of the oscillator.
