Dimming principle:

The LED internal circuit is much more complex than the incandescent lamp, the real LED dimmer is not just the voltage regulator, the LED dimmer has three principles:

2 constant current power supply: analog linear technology can easily adjust the size of the current.

3 packet control: the number of LED grouping, with simple packet control.

Attention strobe:

Stroboscopic most, the reasons are as follows: adjustable resistance itself is not a very reliable components, often because of dust entering or manufacturing process is not strict, the adjustable resistor will be in operation when the fault moment of a gap, then the light will be flashing. So it is necessary to have a high quality adjustable resistor, or use the linear technology to regulate the current rather than voltage.

Dimming will reduce life:

To be reminded, dimming is easy to reduce the life of the bulb, why? A simple dimming mode: we put a second into 1000 parts, each part is 1 milliseconds, and then through the control chip, LED lights work out 7 ms 3 ms, so in a second time it just 0.7 seconds, but the blink interval soon, we find it not the naked eye the brightness in the flicker, will only feel its dimming, is 0.7 times the original, which achieves the dimming effect.
