India LED street planning minister said the "three steps" first step as fast as 72 hours

India Patna deputy chief minister Sushil Kumar Modi said on Friday, as state street plan (SLNP) part, in order to save power, soon LED lights will be installed in the state of all municipal and city local authority.

Sushil Kumar Modi said that the government put more emphasis on replace incandescent bulbs with LED lights, for street lamp, because it can save 9 billion of electricity in the country.

He added, "energy efficiency Services Limited (EESL) as the public power company joint venture, will soon begin to install new LED streetlights in the state. According to a survey conducted by EESL in Biharsharif Corporation under the jurisdiction of the place, the installation of LED street each year will give the municipal agencies save the year 131 million rupees (about 13 million 400 thousand yuan)."

He said, the state government agreed to the implementation of national plans in the State Street (SLNP), and the energy efficiency Service Company Limited (EESL) signed a memorandum of understanding. Will be divided into three stages, the installation of LED lights in the town all the poles. If necessary, the lamps will change in 72 hours."

Modi added that EESL will sign a separate agreement with local authorities and the city municipal company, with the implementation of the national plan for street lamp. National City Development and Housing Minister Suresh Sharma on Friday at a meeting to discuss the salient features of the new facility. EESL representatives also attended the meeting.
