India Northeast Railway lighting upgrade intends to use more than 50 thousand sets of LED lights

According to reports, one of India's 17 railway areas of the Northeast Railway (NER) will install solar panels and energy-saving LED bulbs on its equipment to support the government's energy conservation and environmental protection plan.

NER spokesman Ashok Kumar said, NER has replaced the original 90W 60W fan, and the lamp is installed in the platform. In addition, they have upgraded 6 site logo display and office, all with LED lights instead.

Kumar added, NER also plans to use 56 thousand and 500 LED T5 lamps in the near future to replace the lighting equipment 40W.
